Jak is a registered architect in British Columbia (AIBC), Canada and a member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC). He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree and has played major roles in various local and Southeast Asian firms with a diverse practice that includes construction management, contractor work, and building design for residential, apartment, industrial, and high-rise office projects.
With over 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, Jak has participated in various land and residential development projects. Before obtaining the CACB-CCCA BEFA ( Canadian Architectural Certification Board-The Broadly Experienced Foreign Architecture) credential, he worked as a sole proprietor for Paul Rust AIBC-Architect, gaining practical experience on local architectural projects including residential and commercial renovations, mid-rise condominiums, and First Nation cultural buildings.
Jak's comprehensive understanding of architectural projects, combined with his certification as a LEED Accredited Professional (Building Design and Construction) and passion for Building Information Modeling, energy modeling, and mass timber construction, enables him to meet his clients' project needs and deliver sustainable solutions..
